BARRAAMIELINGA IS A WIRADJURI WORD MEANING "TO PROVIDE"

The Unit is located on the Dubbo Campus of Charles Sturt University.

Indigenous students are enrolled in full-time and part-time modes, and study by on campus and distance education, mainly in courses such as Indigenous Mental Health, Teacher Education, Social Welfare, Bachelor of Business, Agriculture, Horticulture, Graphic Design, Bachelor of Arts, Computing, Medical Laboratory Science and Nursing.

Barraamielinga is a support unit for Indigenous students. Staff can assist and support prospective students in the areas of: application for admission, funding through various government assistance, accommodation enquires, study skills, careers, tutorials and general support.

Alternative Pathways for Indigenous People into University

KAP - Koori Admissions Program is offered to all ATSI people as an alternative admission to university program with appropriate education
